Tierra Shumpert, M.S.
Tierra is a third-year doctoral candidate at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and a student therapist at the Center for m2Health’s clinic. Tierra is interested in working with diverse adult populations, integrating digital interventions into psychotherapy to treat various mental health difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders. Tierra has a passion for working with athletes. She hopes to help develop digital mental health screens tailored specifically to student-athletes as well as digital mental health interventions for student-athletes to help address the barriers to treatment in that population. Moreover, Tierra has a passion for working with underserved communities, with a specific interest in providing services to the Black community. Tierra hopes to use digital interventions to provide mental health resources to people with less access to care.
